This was supposed to be an 8 mile pace run. I did 7. I could have done 8 but it was hurting just a little to much on my legs and my foot so I wanted to make sure I had enough in me for my long run tomorrow. It was a rough run. the first three miles were uphill with the wind at my back, and when I turned around the wind made it feel as though I did not have any down hill on the way back. Splits were: 6:06, 6:16, 6:14, 5:49, 5:51, 4:49, 5:43. average was 5:59. This was too fast, and it was definately faster than marathon pace because I could not have held that for a marathon.
